Desert Cross Lutheran Church

An evening enjoying professional singers and outstanding musical voices from around the Valley.  Featuring members of the Arizona Opera, Phoenix Opera, Grammy-award winning Phoenix Chorale, as well as Church Directors, Music Teachers and Accomplished Music Students. Thanks to Elvin G. Dioquino for organizing the event that took place on March 25, 2011.

The concert raised over $4700 to purchase water filters for families and villages in Ghana providing a way to have clean water.




This village in Ghana, has no clean water supply, but instead uses a polluted drainage pond for cooking, drinking and washing. GlobalResolve is working on a permanent solution water purifier for the village that creates distilled water from any source using very little energy in a patented process developed by Prof. Jim Beckman in chemical engineering at ASU.
