Each worship service requires the service of many dedicated volunteers. The areas of service in the Worship area are: Communion Assistants: Communion Assistants help serve the bread and wine of Holy Communion. Periodic training is offered for volunteers. Lectors: Lectors prayerfully prepare and then read the scripture lessons at worship. Sound Technicians: Sound techs operate audio, video, computer, and recording devices for worship services, and special congregational events. Ushers: Teams of ushers make sure that worshipers have all they need to worship with ease. Ushers pass out bulletins, assist people in finding seats, receive the offering, and assist with the flow of Holy Communion. Altar Guild: Members of the altar guild make the bread and set up and clean up Holy Communion for each service. Acolytes: Acolytes are our youth, starting in about the 4th grade, who wish to assist with lighting the candles, collecting empty wine glasses during communion and assisting the pastor during baptisms. Projection Assistants: Projections assistants run the Power Point PC during the 5:00PM, 9:30AM and 10:45AM services.
