I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. Ephesians 1:16

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday! As a child I would hope for snow to play in by Thanksgiving. My birthday falls around Thanksgiving so that makes it extra special as my family celebrates me. One of my favorite parts of the celebration is the traditional meal that we always share without variation except for dessert. Pictured is the untraditional mini-cherry pies I baked which were a delight! Thanksgiving is a day to delight in family, friends, and good food. What really makes it special is being grateful for each other, for our lives, and for all of our blessings.

As we reflect on our blessings, the year is closing in. 2022 brings many reasons for both thanksgiving and prayer. It has been a year full of both joys and sorrows. I try to give thanks for everything that has happened in my life and seek to learn what God is teaching me through these experiences. We are blessed with faith to guide us in the challenges and the triumphs. I give thanks for you and all the ways you share your faith giving healing, hope, and love to a hurting world. You are a blessing!

My prayer for you is “Paul’s Prayer” to the Ephesians: Thanksgiving and Prayer – Ephesians 1:15-23

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 1I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

In thanksgiving, Pastor Andrea
