We'll continue our year of historical fiction with Kristin Hannah. We'll read The Women for our next book group. It's about women nurses in Vietnam during the war and after they returned home. Please be aware that the book has adult language, scenes, and violence.

Do you want to try meditation? If so, please join Elaine Kraemer Tuesday evenings or Thursday mornings. Elaine is hosting weekly meditation groups. Elaine has practiced "passage meditation" for many, many years. She'll share the whys and hows of meditation and help you get started with this faith-growing spiritual practice.

Lenten Perspectives on the Life of Jesus
February 26-March 26

Tempe Fellowship Hall
During this five-session class we'll examine the meaning of Jesus' baptism, wilderness experience, ministry, death, and resurrection.
As part of our study we'll be asking difficult questions, considering some answers, and perhaps arriving at a new and refreshing way of expressing faith in him as our Lord and Savior. There is no book to read, but do bring your bibles. We'll be comparing gospel passages and looking at the record left by Jesus' earliest interpreters.
