Tax Credit Donation Information
For more than 20 years, Desert Cross Lutheran Church and the SE Valley Coalition have supported Habitat for Humanity's mission to build, renovate and repair affordable homes for families of modest means right here in metro Phoenix. Our coalition must raise $95,000 each year to build a house. The majority of our funding to continue this mission comes from donations from our mission supporter. Many of these supporters utilize the Arizona Tax Credit available for contributions to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (Formerly Credit for the Working Poor). As long as you are an Arizona resident and file an Arizona State tax return, you are eligible.

Contributors will receive a formal thank you letter from Habitat for Humanity, which serves as a donation receipt for tax purposes. The tax credit program works just like the school donation programs and you can do both! Make a donation up to $400 for an individual return or $800 for a joint return any time before April 15th.
