Renew Our Heart: DCLC Retreat @ Home

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts." Deuteronomy 6:4-6

This year we will treat the 40 days of Lent as a spiritual retreat that offers us the opportunity to renew our hearts with a focus on God, worship, and prayer. The early church began in the homes of the early followers of Jesus. This a new opportunity for us to do the same in 2021!

We will gather weekly on Wednesdays at 7pm for worship on Zoom. During this 30 minute prayer service, we will use the Bible Project's video word studies of our Lenten Theme verse: the "Shema Prayer."

On Sunday mornings at 9am, we will have our live stream worship services from the Tempe Sanctuary. The first Sunday of each month we will celebrate Holy Communion and you can pick up communion supplies at either campus. If you are unable to join us live on Sunday mornings at 9am, the worship will be available as a video.

We will celebrate Holy Week beginning with Palm Sunday, March 28 at 9am. Our Children's Ministry is hosting a Zoom event Journey through Holy Week on Palm Sunday at 10:30am. We will then have a live stream worship service on both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. 

We invite you to join us live on Easter morning, Sunday, April 4 at 9am as we rejoice and sing songs of praise to our risen Lord and proclaim, "He is risen! HE IS RISEN INDEED! HALLELUJAH!"
